This one, http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html

Ripped from the site:

Enjoy the best gaming experience ever

Designed to help optimize your PC for smoother, more responsive game play in the latest PC games with the touch of a button, Game Booster helps achieve the performance edge previously only available to highly technical enthusiasts.

It works by defragmenting game directories, temporarily shutting down background processes, cleaning RAM, and intensifying processor performance. That means you can keep all the features of operating systems ready for when you need them, but turn them off when you are ready to get down to serious business gaming.

Works compatible with PunkBuster, Cheating-Death, VAC, and any other anti-cheat software, Game Booster makes it simpler to enjoy the latest games and take your experience to a new level. All systems go!

I had doubts that it will expose you to certain vulnerabilities.

Looks similar than Fusion utility for AMD based computers. I never really test it with benchmarks but i think it helps just a little bit, maybe few fps

It does not help. I used it on Windows 7 to play Counter Strike Source with extra Power and the only thing that happened to me everytime with every game was the "Blue Screen of Death" because this application kills a very important process which is needed to run the system. On Windows XP it shutdown nothing so all unneeded stuff run and runs and use resources.

im using it. It does work if you have a pc with low memory. It really doesn't affect me tongue.gif. The only thing gamebooster does is close a few programs and thats it. but its better to use the task manager to close the useless stuff

Really depends on the computer.

If you are low on resources it helps by killing background processes and useless services (Though it doesn't find anything to optimize on my XP install and it causes a bsod on 7)

Studying, might not answer to PMs.

It gives your system more RAM to use, but its useless in most games.

this program won't help increasing your FPS, it's only useful for people willing to play RAM-demanding games, and I don't recommend it since it may kill important processes...

and this "defragmenting game directories, cleaning RAM and intensifying processor performance" thingy is just pure bullshit, it reminds me of CS 1.6 New Era with optimized game menu and other crap tongue.gif
